WorkDay List


Workday is every first Saturday of the month.  Somebody have said that "cleanliness is next to godliness."  We endeavor to have a beautiful sanctuary of worship and praise for the Lord.   Cleaning the church is also a tradition that has kept the families FBC of Wahiawa together. 

List of things to clean: 

  1. Outside:  Flower Bed (clear debris, dry leaves, make look fresh)
  2. Cut trees and hedges  
  3. Windows:  Use squeegee, water and dry towel
  4. Inside:  Put everything into order
  5. Vacuum the pews; order the songbooks and fans
  6. Flower Room:  Arrange flower room
  7. Japanese Room:  Arrange Japanese Room
  8. Bathrooms:  Deep clean or freshen the bathroom
  9. Fellowship Hall:  Put everything back to order; clean and inventory
  10. Parking:  Power wash the drainage in front of the church

Priority for January 6 cleaning: 

  1. Sanctuary high windows 
  2. Pastors Carpet / Rag shampoo
  3. Power wash the drain and muddy spots
  4. Power wash the front of the church
  5. (not priority) Repaint walkway path front of the church
